Quotation Specialist / Space Planner
We are a growing organization that requires a Quotation Specialist/Space Planner to join our team.
The Position
• Title: Quotation Specialist / Space Planner
• Full time
• Industry: Moving, installation, furniture
• Start immediately
• Salary: TBD, based on experience
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Develop detailed plans and 3-D models showing arrangement of furniture using computer-assisted design (CAD) software and graphics software
- Quote product prices, delivery specifications and payment terms and offering substitute products where appropriate
- Communicate with customers to resolve problems of projects
- Follows-up on open/outstanding quotations with salespersons and customers
- Communicate with suppliers to discuss product specifications, clarify and confirm bill of materials, negotiate pricing and identify alternatives for special or custom orders.
- Prepares purchase orders and job folders for project sales order management
- Maintains catalogs, customer and supplier database
- Participate in product specification, purchase recommendations, and selection for furniture and other interior products.
- Gain familiarity of the day-to-day operations of the business and participates in improving operations by offering potential alternatives to existing methods.
- Inside sales support.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor Degree
- Well organized and extremely detail oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CAD or other 3D software.
- Ability to effectively balance priorities, multi-task and manage time
